This is blog is by Alexandre Borges Sugiyama, PhD. I am currently teaching economics at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ.

I have many interests besides teaching economics and I read a lot. This often translates into stories that I can bring to the classroom or when meeting with individual students. I also write the occasional handout for a class that students find interesting that I am willing to share them broadly. A blog makes perfect sense. But I have really diverse interests so you never know what you will find. Enjoy!
